Derwent Inktense pencils are versatile water-soluble coloured pencils. When mixed with water, they can be used to create vibrant colours like coloured inks. The high density pigment colours dry to a transparent hue and become fixed after drying. This means you can add colours to your work without affecting previous layers of vibrant colour. They are suitable for painting on paper or fabric for a variety of arts and crafts projects. (Please make sure all the pigment is dissolved in the water to ensure full colour set. If there is any dry pigment that is not fully dissolved, the colour will run when you add water over it.)
