Sorano Yaozo

Born in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture in 1916. He studied painting overseas and worked as an artist in Osaka and Tokyo before returning to Hiroshima. He maintained ties with his hometown of Kure and contributed to the promotion of art there.

In 2019, the Kure Municipal Museum of Art exhibited works by Sorano Yaozo as part of a local artist exhibition.
