Masao Seno

A Western-style painter from Hiroshima Prefecture who was active from 1912 to 1996.

Graduated from Hiroshima Normal School. Member and judge of the Independent Art Association. Studied under Wasaku Kobayashi. Loved nature, he sketched on-site and created landscape paintings with powerful brush strokes. He died in 1996 at the age of 83.
