Kiyoshi Asai (1901-1968)

A painter from Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

While working at a military arsenal, he aspired to be a painter and later became active as a printmaker.

In April 1960, he founded the Japan Print Association together with Shiko Munakata, Chiho Maekawa, Yoshiro Nagase and others.

Member of the Tokoukai committee.
