Yoshiro Fukui (1912-1974)

Graduated from Osaka School of Art. Background: Studied Western painting under Yori Saito.

In 1931, he opened the Hiroshima Western Painting Institute and continued to be very active in his creative endeavors, mainly participating in exhibitions such as the Teiten and Tokoten exhibitions.

Founding member of the Shinkyo Art Association.
