<Resin solution>
This resin solution is made by dissolving Greek mastic resin in turpentine at a ratio of 25%. When mixed with paint, it improves spreadability and is suitable for detailed depiction. When used as a protective varnish, it gives the painting a gentler and more elegant luster than tableau. The varnish layer can be removed with volatile oils such as turpentine. Because natural resin is used, there may be variations in transparency, but this does not affect the quality.
