A screen protection varnish whose main component is synthetic resin derived from plants. It has a strong luster like glass. Varnishing should be done on a sunny day with low humidity after the oil paint has dried sufficiently. In general, it is desirable to dry for half a year or more. The dried varnish layer can be removed with a volatile oil such as turpentine.
