Yoshimura Yoshio

Yoshimura Yoshio was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1950. After graduating from Yamaguchi College of Arts, he got a job at a local advertising agency. He later left the company and began studying printmaking at Sokei Art School in 1976.

He uses his overwhelming descriptive power to create realistic works of art, such as a newspaper with every single character copied onto it and a 10-meter-long colored pencil drawing.

He died in 2013 at the age of 63.
