How to make glue
It is indispensable when making Japanese painting paints, mineral pigments, water-based pigments, etc.
What you will need is Banshu granulated glue, water, a glue pot, a stove, and a wooden spatula.
The glue pot can also be an ordinary pot that can be heated over low heat.
*Do not use the same pot for cooking food.
For example, 10g of glue is 100cc of water. The ratio is 1 part glue to 10 parts water.
*Please store in the refrigerator during summer.
*If you are in a hurry, you can proceed to step 3 without leaving it overnight.
*Do not boil, but simmer on low heat to avoid burning. (The recommended temperature is 60 to 70 degrees.)
*Do not heat above 70 degrees! The glue will change and lose its adhesive power.
*Glue solution can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days after production. Be careful not to freeze it. If it freezes, it will lose its adhesive power.
*If glue is left in the summer or at around 35-40 degrees after boiling, it will rot. Glue that has a putrid smell or mold will not only lose its adhesive power, but it may also damage the screen it is used on. Please do not use it under any circumstances.
